Regulator Racing to Campaign No. 91 Mercedes-AMG for Remainder of 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge America Season

For the remainder of the 2024 Fanatec GT World Challenge powered by AWS season, the No. 91 Burton Lumber Mercedes-AMG GT3, driven by Jeff Burton and Philip Ellis, will be campaigned by Regulator Racing as DXDT Racing continues the transition to the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R.

Though the car will be running under a new banner, many of the same crew will continue to operate the Mercedes-AMG with the upstart outfit. DXDT Racing Team Principal David Askew emphasized that the team’s commitment to excellence would follow the car as it moves over to the sister team.

“Our partnership with Mercedes-AMG is strong and always has been,” said Askew. “We’ve made some progress on getting that car and the program where it needs to be. Working closely with them and bringing talent like Philip in to help us develop that car shows our commitment to getting this car where it should be: the podium. Our aim is to have the fastest Mercedes on track, and I think this move will help us get closer to that goal.”
